HILLS SCHOOL BUS SERVICES

The school buses are used to transport students to and from school each day. The aim of these bus services is to provide a safe, convenient service to families. It is not intended to be a door-to-door service. Routes are designed to keep trips as short as possible for those students at the “far end” of each route. The bus routes are reviewed periodically to ensure that they provide the best possible service to the students who would not otherwise have a convenient transport option to the school.

BUS ROUTE 1 – Lenswood, Lobethal, Mt Torrens and Onkaparinga Valley Road.

BUS ROUTE 2 – Mt Barker, Nairne, Littlehampton, Oakbank and Balhannah.

BUS ROUTE 3 – (Mt Barker), Mylor, Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate & Bridgewater.

Children must be at their stop five minutes before the scheduled pickup each morning. Buses will be departing at the scheduled departure times. We have a GPS Bus Tracking application that families may download on their phones called “Transportme” to view the buses’ progress enroute. Click here for more information.

Students with set bookings each term will be assured of a seat on the bus. It is important you make an early booking to ensure your child’s seat on the bus. These families will be charged at the beginning of each term in advance.

Our pricing structure is geared to assist our regular booked users – particularly those using the service every day and larger families. You may also book the bus service on a casual basis if you provide at least 24 hours-notice in writing to the enquiries email. However, this would be dependent upon seats being available on the bus. This timeframe allows us sufficient time to note our booking sheet.

If you need to contact the bus driver in an emergency, please call Conrad at BusBiz on 8391 5272. They can then contact the drivers via their two-way radio.
