The Hills Christian Community School (HILLS) is a co-educational, non-denominational Christian School, for Reception to Year 12 students. Our ELC – Year 12 Campus is situated on picturesque grounds at Verdun, which is only minutes away from the South-Eastern Freeway and 5 minutes from Hahndorf.

Early Learning Centre Teacher
HILLS Enterprise Agreement 2024 – Salaries Teachers
Step 3-10 – Full Time Equivalent of approximately $89,000 – $120,00 depending on experience
Role Purpose
HILLS is seeking a dedicated, dynamic, strategic, and visionary teacher to lead our ELC room. Reporting to the ELC Director / Educational Leader, the teacher is pivotal in driving quality learning and care. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing high-quality learning opportunities, aligning with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the center’s philosophy, drawing on nature pedagogy, and Reggio principles. This role requires a highly skilled educator who can lead a team, inspire best practices, and build strong partnerships with children, families, and the wider community.

Pre-Requisites/Qualifications
These qualifications/certificates are required prior to commencing employment at HILLS and must be updated for the duration of employments at HILLS (please provide copy with application):

- Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia
- Bachelor of Early Childhood (minimum requirement)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Driver’s Licence

The Executive Assistant to the Principal at HILLS plays a pivotal role in providing high-level administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team, particularly the Principal, contributing to the efficient operation of the school and the overall success of its educational mission. This is a position with significant responsibilities and high-level interactions with Executive Leadership members, administration and teaching staff. This position requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Executive Assistant to the Principal serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination within the school community. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic, supportive and Christian school community. The Certificate III Qualified Educator at our Early Learning Centre (ELC) plays a vital role in the care, education,
and development of young children. Reporting to the Lead Teachers and the Director-Educational Leader, the
Certificate III Qualified Educator is responsible for supporting and implementing high-quality emergent research
learning opportunities that adhere to the National Quality Framework (NQF) and align with the Centre’s
philosophy and goals. This role requires a dedicated educator who can create a nurturing and stimulating
environment, work collaboratively with colleagues, and build strong relationships with families and the
community.
Pre-requisites & Qualifications
The ELC Diploma Qualified Educator must have:
- a minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Education and Care
- current Working with Children Check
- current Reporting Abuse and Neglect training
- current HLTAID012 “Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting” First Aid training.
- current Drivers Licence
